Install Tryroom

Test build · Chrome, Edge, Brave or Arc on a computer

Four steps, about two minutes. Tryroom is not in the Chrome Web Store yet, so you add it by hand.

1. Download it

   Download Tryroom

2. Unzip it, and keep the folder

   Double-click the zip (on Windows: right-click → Extract All). Move the tryroom folder to Documents. Chrome runs Tryroom from this folder, so do not delete it.

3. Add it to Chrome

   Copy chrome://extensions into the address bar and press Enter.

   Turn on Developer mode (top right), click Load unpacked and select the tryroom folder.

4. Sign up

   A welcome page opens by itself. If you have an invitation code, enter it with your name and email to get its credits. Then the page shows you how to try something on.

   No code? Skip it. Every install starts with 3 free looks.

Good to know

• Chrome can show a message about developer-mode extensions when it starts. Close it. Do not disable Tryroom.
• Out of credits? Write to theklue@gmail.com. Buying credits is not open yet.
• Credits added and not showing? Open Options and press the refresh button in 3 · Credits.

A new version

Download it again, copy the new files over the old ones in your tryroom folder, then click the circular reload arrow on the Tryroom card. Your photos, looks and credits stay.
